This is confirmed to work on 4.0 O.S. ONLY!
Do NOT attempt to do this on a 4.1 O.S. because I have not yet figured out the exact way to do it on a 4.1 OS (Keep getting Java Errors).
As soon as I figure out how to do it on a 4.1 O.S. I will be posting instructions on how to do so.
This is also going to require you go in and edit your Blackberry.alx file. If you are uncomfortable with this, I would not recommend you do it. However, if you do do the following and something happens, as always, this website is here to help. I do not take responsibility for anything you may do to screw up your device, however like I said, we are more than willing to help if things go arry.
I am going to make this thread like Pentace did on his How To Unlock All Hidden And Vendor Themes to make it easy.
Step 1) Find your current OS software file located here in most cases...
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\"deviceOSversion" exp. C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\8700-v4.1.0.286_P2.0.0.123
Step 2) Right click on the "Blackberry.alx" and select "Open with" and select notepad or wordpad.
Step 3) Once opened look for the following in the text below. For help I made the text in red. When you find this text, simply delete it. That easy.
Some of you may say "Why am I deleting for devices that are not my type of service?". The answer is, I don't know, but I did it to be on the safe side. I didn't want to go through and delete one at a time and something happen where maybe the ringtones will still be loaded from one of the other types of radios.
