Tech News Galaxy A52 5G gets June 2022 security update

The Galaxy A52 5G has started getting Samsung’s latest security update. The mid-range smartphone, released last year, came with a promise of monthly security updates and three years of Android OS updates. And Samsung has been faithful to its promise as the Galaxy A52 5G has received monthly security updates since its release.

The latest Galaxy A52 5G software update comes with firmware version A526BXXS1CVE4. The new update is currently available in Chile, and we expect the update to roll out to other markets over the next few days. The June 2022 security patch fixes over 66 privacy and security vulnerabilities explained in this article. It might also bring some general bug fixes and device stability improvements.

If you are a Galaxy A52 5G user in Chile, you can download and install the latest software update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the said firmware file from our database and flash it manually. Don’t forget to back up your data, though.

After launching the Galaxy A52 5G early last year with Android 11-based One UI 3 software, Samsung released the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 software update to the smartphone earlier this year. The smartphone also received additional software features through the One UI 4.1 update a few months ago.
